We’re partnering with a globally recognised FMCG business to hire a Supply Planner into their EMEA operations team. This is a critical role focused on ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time, while balancing service levels and inventory efficiency.

The Opportunity

As Supply Planner, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end supply planning across a defined product portfolio, working closely with demand planning, production partners, and internal stakeholders.

 

You’ll be responsible for translating forecast into actionable supply plans, identifying potential risks, and making adjustments to ensure continuity of supply.

 

This role requires someone who is comfortable operating at pace, making decisions, and continuously improving planning accuracy and processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain supply plans to support demand across multiple EMEA markets.
  • Proactively manage supply risks, including stock shortages, production delays, and demand fluctuations.
  • Work closely with external manufacturing partners to manage purchase orders and production timelines.
  • Continuously review inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock holding while maintaining service levels.
  • Support product launches and lifecycle changes, including phase-in and phase-out activity.
  • Maintain accurate planning data within systems, ensuring reliability of outputs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align supply plans with business priorities.
  • Monitor performance metrics and investigate root causes of supply or inventory issues.
  • Drive improvements across planning processes and supplier performance.

 

About You

  • Experience in supply planning or a similar planning function within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge of MRP is essential
  • Familiarity with planning systems such as SAP (e.g. APO, IBP) is beneficial
  • Advanced Excel skills with a strong analytical approach
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing demand
  • Proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate and solve problems
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable working across teams and functions
  • Self-motivated, with a high level of ownership and accountability
