About the Role
If you enjoy working across fast-paced retail channels where no two days are the same, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a diverse customer portfolio and play a key role in driving category growth.
The Advocate Group are looking for a commercially minded Category Manager to lead category initiatives across Convenience, Forecourt, High Street and Wholesale, partnering with a diverse range of customers to deliver Category Growth.
This is a highly visible role where you'll combine insight, customer engagement and commercial thinking to influence category strategy and deliver recommendations that drive growth.
What you'll be doing
- Own category plans across a diverse portfolio of impulse customers.
- Build trusted relationships with customers and internal commercial teams.
- Turn shopper and market data into compelling, customer-focused recommendations.
- Adapt category insights across multiple accounts to maximise impact.
- Support category execution across store, brochure and digital channels.
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-moving, commercially driven environment.
What we're looking for
- Category Management experience within Impulse, Convenience, Forecourt, High Street, Wholesale, Foodservice or OOH.
- Experience using NielsenIQ and/or Sakana.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Confident influencing both customers and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
