About the Role

Would you like to join a fast-growing FMCG brand with a strong presence across major UK grocery retailers? Privately owned and generating millions in turnover, the business is currently ranked #3 in its category and has clear ambitions to double in size.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative QA and Regulatory team as a QA Technician, where you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality, safety and compliance standards while supporting the development of innovative new products.

The Role:

  • Assessing finished products to ensure performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Producing product instructions and user documentation.
  • Reviewing packaging artwork to ensure logos, wording and product information are accurate and compliant.
  • Working closely with Product Development on product testing and technical information.
  • Supporting Customer Service with product investigations, complaints and defects.
  • Providing technical support to Marketing to ensure product claims and promotional content are factually accurate.
  • Liaising with testing laboratories, environmental agencies and compliance schemes.
  • Supporting regulatory projects as legislation and industry requirements evolve.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, technical files and risk assessments.
  • Managing packaging data, including weights, dimensions and compliance information.
  • Supporting regulatory administration and liaising with external compliance bodies.
  • Coordinating product testing, including working with the overseas testing team.
  • Supporting new product development through product testing and claim verification.

About You:

  • At least one year's experience within a Quality Assurance or Product Development role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • An analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Experience supporting product development or product testing (desirable).
  • Experience within the toys, food or medical device industries (preferred but not essential).
  • An understanding of scientific or regulatory principles (desirable).
  • A second European language would be advantageous but is not essential.
