Legal Counsel - Commercial & Operations The Advocate Group are proud to represent a global FMCG business seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join their EMEA legal team. The Role: Working closely with the in-house legal team, you will: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex commercial agreements, including distribution, manufacturing, logistics, services, software licenses, leases, and procurement contracts across the UK and EMEA. Provide practical legal advice to support business strategy and decision-making. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to manage legal risks effectively. Support and mentor junior legal team members. Maintain contract templates and ensure best practice in contract management. What We're Looking For: Qualified solicitor with strong commercial contract experience. Experience in FMCG or wider Manufacturing sectors Experiences in handling commercial contracts for Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics or Procurement. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly to non-legal colleagues. Positive, collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment. Why This Role? The Advocate Group is proud to be representing a leading global spirits business in the search for an experienced PR Manager. This is a senior, high-impact role with responsibility for external and internal communications across the UK business, spanning brand, corporate and advocacy activity. The Role This role leads the development, delivery and evaluation of PR and communications strategies that strengthen the reputation of both the business and its portfolio of premium spirits brands in the UK. Sitting within the Marketing team, the PR Manager will work cross-functionally with teams including HR, Commercial, Customer Marketing and Digital, while also partnering closely with senior stakeholders at global level. The role also plays a key part in building and maintaining strategic external partnerships, including government bodies, trade associations and international cultural institutions. Key Responsibilities Lead strategic PR, influencer and communications activity for five core brands, including creative campaigns, events, influencer strategies, activation and crisis communications where required. Advise on PR and communications strategy for additional brands within the wider portfolio. Act as the main UK point of contact for PR and communications requests from global teams, collaborating with international PR communities on shared initiatives. Oversee measurement and evaluation of all PR and influencer activity, working closely with Marketing and Business Intelligence. Appoint and manage PR agency partners, ensuring proactive, high-quality output aligned to business and brand strategy. Lead strategic corporate communications for the UK business, including media relations, issues and crisis management, briefings and large-scale corporate events. Manage and grow key external partner relationships, including government bodies, trade associations and international business communities. Support communications and events linked to internal training and advocacy initiatives. Manage UK corporate social media channels. Ideal Profile Senior PR professional with experience across consumer and corporate communications, including crisis management. Proven ability to manage senior internal stakeholders and high-level external relationships. Exceptional writing skills, from press releases and statements to briefing documents and social content. Strong understanding of the UK PR, media and influencer landscape, with excellent cultural awareness. Highly organised self-starter with excellent time management and attention to detail; comfortable working without direct reports. Broad communications expertise spanning PR, social, digital and experiential activity. Confident "do-er" who can both deliver hands-on work and manage agencies effectively. Experience in the drinks sector is advantageous but not essential.
