Are you a Category Executive or Category Analyst looking to make the transition in to a Category & Insights Executive?
I have taken an exciting brief for a Global business with Turn Over in excess of £2.5 Billion. More locally, in the UK they have more of an SME vibe with a project £60 million turnover for 2021.
Reporting in to the Category Head, you will be customer facing (Morrison’s and Waitrose), developing an amazing selection of brands covering chilled and free from products.
Key responsibilities will be:
Developing category-based relationships with retailers within the Grocery Multiples (specifically Morrison’s & Waitrose), Convenience & Online Channels
Provide the sales team with shopper and category insights to build strategic account plans
Provide the Marketing team with shopper and category insights to build strategic brand plans
Manage plant-based research hub
Managing agency workload priorities and insight sharing
You will be either a Category Executive, Junior Category Manager or Category Analyst
Experience of using Kantar, IRI & Nielsen
Ideally you will have customer facing experience
Experience of category & shopper insight management in the UK FMCG environment
Sales/marketing background within a branded environment
