About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and detail-driven Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join a fast-growing and well-established drinks distribution business operating across the UK retail market.

 

Our client works with a wide portfolio of premium producers, supplying hundreds of SKUs to major supermarkets and retailers nationwide. With a reputation for operational excellence and strong partnerships across the drinks industry, they are now looking for a proactive individual to support the smooth flow of stock between suppliers, logistics partners and customers.

 

The Role

This is a key position within a busy supply chain team responsible for coordinating orders, managing stock movements and ensuring deliveries run smoothly across multiple stakeholders.

 

You’ll play a vital role in maintaining stock accuracy, processing orders, communicating with suppliers and logistics partners, and helping the business respond quickly to demand in a fast-moving retail environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accurate stock allocation and delivery scheduling
  • Coordinate stock movements between suppliers, third-party logistics partners and retail customers
  • Maintain and update forecasts, order sheets and internal systems
  • Book deliveries and arrange collections with suppliers and logistics providers
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure retailers maintain consistent supply
  • Communicate proactively with suppliers and customers regarding delivery updates or issues
  • Produce stock reports and forecasts for suppliers
  • Support monthly reconciliations of stock and forecast data
  • Attend supplier meetings and assist with coordinating container shipments and export orders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support new product launches and business opportunities

 

About You

  • Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, or order management
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and data
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Good communication skills when dealing with suppliers, customers and internal teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using an ERP system (such as NetSuite) would be advantageous
