Job Description Are you an experienced Business Development Manager or Sales Engineer looking for a new and exciting opportunity?

Are you interested in joining a globally recognised organisation within power transmission products?

The primary objective of this role as the Business Development Manager, is to deliver engineering solutions selling directly to OEM’s nationally and internationally,with the aim of establishing business to new customers to ensure they have an efficient and robust manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver new power transmission solutions to OEM’s as the Business Development Manager
  • Demonstrates innovation and creativity in order to develop new business
  • Once establishing new OEM’ as the Business Development Manager to work as part of the team, handing over to the Sales Manager, within that region
  • Maintain a high level of motivation and be driven to drive new sales for the business
  • Lead technical issue resolutions to improve the clients productivity within their business

Required Skills & Experience:

  • An Engineering degree in a mechanical/electrical discipline, or equivalent practical experience in the successful delivery of engineering projects in an engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Possess strong technical knowledge and have a proven history of developing new business as a Sales Engineer or Business Development Manager
  • Experience in developing technical engineering solutions in an automated environment including experience of conveyor systems, sensors, pneumatic or servo control would be an advantage but is not essential as is knowledge of Quality Management Systems ISO16949, ISO14001 and ISO18001
  • Identify gaps in the market and enjoy working under pressure to deadlines
  • Ability to think on their feet and drive new business organically
