Job Title: Fleet Assistant
Location: Uxbridge | Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)
Salary: Up to 27,500 depending on experience
The Advocate Group is proud to be partnering with a global FMCG business, looking for a Fleet Assistant to join their internal Fleet management function.
This critical role will support the Fleet Manager in all aspects of Fleet Management within EMEA and, in the Fleet Manager’s absence, cover the day-to-day work within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities and duties will cover all aspects of Fleet Management as follows:
- Acquisition of vehicles
- Modifications
- Maintenance
- Breakdown
- Glass and tire replacement
- Fuel cards
- Vehicle utilisation
- Fine management
- Training
- Licence management
- Lifetime management
- Taxation
- Re-marketing
- Legal compliance
- Incident management
Requirements:
- Flexible, enthusiastic, hardworking, and committed to the cause.
- A rapid learner and a logical solver of problems.
- Good communicator both verbal and written.
- Ability to cover for the Fleet Manager in his absence.
- Updating and maintaining databases.
- Ad hoc and regular reporting.
- Be comfortable working independently and taking initiative when appropriate in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality work.
- Work well in a team environment, be comfortable sharing knowledge, and accepting input and direction from others.
- MS Office experience – comfortable with Excel and Word – PowerPoint useful too
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise duties.
- A Full UK Driving Licence
- CPC learning will be provided with a view to certification
