Propercorn

Propercorn, founded in 2011, is one of the largest premium popcorn manufacturers in the United Kingdom. Established by Ryan and Cassandra, they’ve spent the past nine years growing the business from kitchen table startup to kitchen cupboard staple.

We started a conversation with Propercorn to see if they needed any assistance with their rapid growth and found that they were looking to fill a Senior NAM role and a NAM that we could help with. Having no previous working relationship, we took care to get to know the business vision, values and culture before we began our search.

THE ROLES

Senior National Account Manager

The role of Senior National Account Manager involved leading the growth of the company's UK sales channel. Specifically, Propercorn were looking for an individual who could manage their wholesale department as the leader of a team.

National Account Manager

The role of National Account Manager involved the individual managing some of Propercorn’s largest grocery accounts (namely: Waitrose, Ocado, Morrisons and Amazon) whilst reporting directly into the UK retail sales director.
