THE ROLE

Customer Development Controller

The role of Customer Development Controller - Grocery Retail is one of three Customer Development roles in the UK and reports directly to the UK Commercial Director of McCain. This role was a new position that was created by McCain’s entry into the chilled foods market in 2016 and has a number of direct reports.

Although McCain are one of the most recognisable brands in the UK food industry, due to the location of the role, the need for both branded and chilled experience, the necessary level of experience combined with the gravitas and culture match to impact this key hire meant a challenging search.
