Didriksons Ltd.

Didriksons began producing workwear for fishermen in Grundsund, Sweden circa 1913. Now over 100 years later, the international company are defined as global leaders in outerwear and have grown into Scandinavia’s biggest provider of rainwear and functional garments.

This role was originally in the hands of a recruiter that the client had used previously, but not one candidate was progressed to the interview stage. The difficulty they had finding the ideal candidate demonstrating the challenge that the search had presented. As a result, the hiring manager brought us on board to tackle the project.

THE ROLE

Key Account Manager

A Key Account Manager is responsible for representing the presence of the brand. The role consists of building key relationships with buyers and key decision makers within the Fashion and Sportswear industry to drive business through account management and new business development.

Didriksons addressed the need to recruit a Key Account Manager after the position was created due to the team expanding. The client had originally been using another agency to recruit for this position but had struggled finding the ideal candidate within the individuals that they offered. This lead onto the client bringing The Advocate Group on board to help meet the challenge.
